🌿 What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing art with its roots in Japanese tradition. The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese terms Rei (universal) and Ki (vital life force energy). Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or spiritual practice, and it is not a form of massage. Rather, it is a subtle, intentional method of working with life force energy, believed to help reduce stress and support the body’s natural capacity for healing. Reiki focuses on gently moving and harmonizing the body’s energetic fields and can be offered either in person or remotely, with or without the client’s direct involvement.
🌿 Who Might Find Reiki Supportive?
– Individuals who are sensitive to others’ energy (empaths) and wish to release absorbed energies and restore a sense of refreshment and balance.
– Those navigating health challenges and seeking energetic support to promote relaxation and restore balance, including pre- and post-surgical support, cancer journeys, or other medium- to long-term health concerns.
– Anyone experiencing physical or emotional tension who wishes to explore the possibility of releasing unwanted energies and inviting in supportive, harmonizing energy.
– Individuals drawn to this modality who are seeking a gentle, energetic approach to encourage their natural sense of balance and well-being.
🌿 What Might a Reiki Session Be Like?
Reiki energy may be focused on specific areas of the body or offered more generally. Some individuals may feel subtle sensations such as tingling, warmth, or movement; others may not feel any physical sensations at all. Many describe the experience as deeply relaxing.
🌿 How Might Reiki with an Intuitive, Spirit Communicator, and Medical Intuitive Differ?
During a Reiki session, intuitive impressions or messages may emerge from the client’s body or energy field. These insights can offer additional focus for the energy work and may provide a sense of connection and clarity about areas of tension or imbalance.
In some cases, messages from loved ones in spirit may come through during the session. With the client’s permission, these messages—often expressions of love and support—can be shared to deepen the sense of connection and reassurance.
Additionally, any visualizations or supportive practices that arise during the session may be offered to the client to use in their own time, supporting an ongoing connection to the universal life force energy.
