What It’s Like to Work Together

How do I know which type of session is right for me?

Our complimentary consultation is an opportunity for us to talk about what brings you here, what you’re hoping for, and whether we’re a good fit to work together. If we both feel it’s the right next step, we can talk about and decide which approach feels most supportive and schedule your session.

What happens during a session?

Depending on the session, a loved one in spirit begins communicating right away. Other times, the session begins with information from your spiritual support team, or with intuitive information that helps us understand what is most important for you in that moment. I don’t decide what comes through or the order in which it arrives. My role is simply to pay attention, share it faithfully, and trust the process.

During a reading, I encourage you to let me know what you’re recognizing, what doesn’t make sense yet, or if you have questions along the way. Your feedback helps us discern what’s unfolding together.

Can I ask questions during the session? What if I don’t know what to ask?

I encourage questions if you have them, however, when a loved one is communicating, I ask that we do not interrupt. You and I both want to give your loved one the opportunity to finish what they’re trying to say. There will be natural breaks between what they share to ask questions, make a comment or ask for further clarity. I can’t guarantee every question will be answered or with the level of detail you may be hoping. In my experience, Spirit often responds to the deeper need beneath the question.

Do I need to prepare for a reading or session?

No preparation is required. Come exactly as you are—curious, hopeful, skeptical, emotional, or anything in between. You may want to spend a few quiet moments before the session grounding, talking with your loved ones, praying, or setting an intention. My only suggestion is to arrive with an open mind and allow the experience to unfold naturally.

What if the person I’m hoping to hear from doesn’t come through?

I know that can be disappointing. While I facilitate communication, I cannot guarantee who comes through or what they choose to share. We begin every session with the intention that the session serves your highest good. Even when things don’t happen as expected, meaningful guidance, healing, connection and loving messages are often still available. I’ve come to learn that what remains unsaid is sometimes part of the guidance too.

What if I had a difficult or complicated relationship with the person I’m hoping to hear from?

Please let me know before we begin if your relationship was especially painful or complicated or if mental health challenges played a significant role. My experience as both a medium and a licensed mental health professional allows me to approach these situations thoughtfully, but knowing what I may be walking into helps me do my best work for both you and your loved one. You don’t need to share every detail—just enough context for me to approach the session with the care it deserves.

What if I’m skeptical?

Come with your curiosity, your discernment, and your willingness to be honest about what you’re experiencing. I’d much rather we talk about your hopes, your concerns, and even your skepticism than pretend they’re not there. I know many people come to this work hoping for connection, clarity, or healing. I’m in your corner, and I’ll do my very best to share what I’m able to receive with honesty, care, and integrity.

Is it okay if I don’t understand everything during the session?

First, a lot of information can come through in a reading. That’s one of the reasons I record sessions whenever possible. It can be difficult to absorb everything as it unfolds.

Second, somethings make perfect sense right away. Other times, a message becomes meaningful days, months, or even years later. Occasionally, a reading refers to information or experiences you simply aren’t aware of yet. Giving yourself permission not to understand everything right away and reviewing the video later may be a good plan to help you relax into the reading.

Why do you ask if I’m connecting with the information you’re sharing?

My role is to faithfully share what I receive. That means I share as exactly as I experience the information – all sensory information, emotional impressions, etc. Your role is to let me know whether you’re connecting with what’s coming through. That helps me discern whether I’m understanding the communication correctly and connecting with who I believe is communicating from the spirit world for you. How you are experiencing the reading matters and is important information. If something feels off to you, please do your best to share that with me in the moment.

Can anyone develop their intuition or mediumship?

I believe so. Not everyone will want to, just as not everyone wants to learn to play the piano. Some people naturally begin with stronger sensitivities, just as some people have a natural ear and passion for music. I believe nearly everyone has the capacity to develop greater awareness through curiosity, practice, and experience.

What if guidance comes through that feels difficult or unexpected?

Sometimes guidance is unexpected or difficult to hear. My role is to faithfully share what I receive, while also approaching sensitive information with great care. If something feels particularly significant or delicate, I’ll seek additional confirmation before sharing it. I encourage you to receive any guidance with your own discernment, notice what feels true for you and leave behind anything that doesn’t.

If during the session a person in spirit comes through that you absolutely do not want to hear from, that would be very important to let me know right away. I will have no way to know that unless you tell me. Please also read –What if I had a difficult or complicated relationship with the person I’m hoping to hear from?

What if I cry or become emotional during the session?

It would be completely normal to cry. Mediumship sessions can be deeply personal. They can bring up grief, love, relief, joy, laughter, and sometimes tears. I encourage you to do whatever feels natural in the moment. Sometimes I experience the emotional intensity of the person in spirit, and that brings tears to my eyes. There are also times when I’m moved to tears by what’s unfolding because it is so heartfelt.

What Does It Mean to Develop Spiritually? And Why Would I Want To?

To me, spiritual development is about giving yourself permission to explore your own spiritual nature with openness, curiosity, and discernment. You may be interested in strengthening your intuition, exploring mediumship, discovering a healing modality that resonates with you, or simply feeling more connected—to yourself, your ancestors, a higher power, or the spiritual world in whatever way feels meaningful to you.

One place to begin may be noticing what might fascinate you and taking one small step in that direction. Over time, through exploration, practice, and reflection, you will likely naturally develop your own understanding of who you are as a spiritual being, what you’re capable of, and what it means to live in alignment with your own spiritual nature. That has been the foundation of my own journey.
