Plugging Along Together

Hope your summer was summery—a bit of relaxation, time in the sun, and a reminder of vacation.

There’s a lot going on over here. I’m working on becoming more aware of the energies and available connections around me. Trying to understand and learn to keep setting better energetic boundaries—an ongoing lesson.

I’m taking a trance channeling class and feeling a connection to a past life where this seems to have been the work I did. Re-engaging with it now feels pretty magical, as does so much of connecting with the other side. I hope it will always live for me as a bit surreal and wondrous, no matter how familiar it becomes.

Our in-person mediumship development circle continues to meet on Sundays, and I’m learning right alongside everyone else—although some of my lessons are about teaching. The therapist in me can still be very quick to jump in, problem-solve and help. I’m becoming increasingly aware that sometimes the better thing I can do is step back and give people more room to practice, experiment, discover what works for them and build trust in their own connection. Apparently, after all these years, I am still learning how to get out of the way. 🙂

I’m also experimenting with something I’m calling Ambassador Sessions. The idea is to work with two people who love each other—one here and one on the other side—and help them begin developing their own way of communicating with each other. I may serve as a bridge at first, but the real hope is that eventually they won’t need me, or another medium, in the middle at all. It’s very new, moderately working so far, and I’m genuinely curious to see what I learn from it.
